Your prices are very cheap for real pine bookcases, why is this?
We are the manufacturer of the bookcases, not a wholesaler. You are benefitting from buying directly from the manufacturer.
How long will it take my bookcases to be delivered?
All bookcases are made to order, so please allow 28 days for delivery. If you need them quicker please give us a call and we will see what we can do.
Are your shelves fixed?
Yes, all of our shelves are fixed. You can choose your own shelf heights though, for no extra charge, by ordering a custom bookcase on this website. We are one of the only manufacturers of bookcases who allow you to custom design and order your bookcases online. We do not supply our bookcases with adjustable shelves.
I want my bookcase for DVDs or CDs and 9 inch wood seems a bit large for this, is there a smaller option?
Yes, we can provide bookcases with 6 inch wood at no extra cost, simply choose to order a custom bookcase.
Why are your stains shown as only being approximate colours?
Everyone's monitor is slightly different so the colours shown are as close as we can get online.
Do you do doors?
No we don't do doors - wood or glass. Sorry.
What can I do if my bookcase arrives damaged?
Please call us straight away and we will talk you through your options. Your statutory rights are not affected.
I live locally, can I call in and pick my bookcase up?
Yes. On the checkout page, tick the option to pick up your bookcase and we will remove the delivery charge and you can pick up from us. Our pick up address is Pine Bookcases, Whites Yard, 28-30 North Road, Lancaster, LA1 1NY.
